Meet Two Legends who might become the next Donald Bradman and Shane Warne!

These two young guns are making a statement. One has an incredible batting technique and playing very well for Lancashire and made his debut for England four months ago. The other is a clever leg-spinner who has just recently been playing for the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League, with great results. In the next few years, I’ll be expecting him to be a international debutant. These players are Haseeb Hameed and Liam Bowe.

Let’s talk about the batsman and Pom first off. Hameed is twenty years old and a patient player who wants to spend time at the crease. This would’ve helped with his test selection and his hundreds made in domestic cricket. He doesn’t overthink what he needs to do, he backs himself to perform. He likes to have an open bat and knowing when and how to play each ball. Haseeb makes sure he know which shots he will play and he won’t play and as he goes through the inning, his shot range will expand on his confidence. His goal is to play England for a long time, and I think he will. His aspirations go higher still, like wanting to win an Ashes and World Cup. With his talent I believe those dreams will come true. Now the leggie.

Liam Bowe is a great leg-spinner who is only recently started playing the BBL for the Stars. There isn’t much information on him, but he has a great action that lets him spin however he wants it. He collected his first wicket in his first over and the man out was versatile Ben Dunk. He also clean bowled Moises Henriques, a lethal player for Sixers. He is very good at varying pace and able to trick the batsman. We haven’t seen much of him, but is a great young player who has a bright future.
